The jury in the northen region includes director Doan Minh Tuan, singer Ngoc Khue, musician Tuong Van and choreographer Nguyen Viet Thanh.

This year’s event welcomes more and more foreigners who living or working in Vietnam. The Bun Cha band have five members from four various countries such as: Jheniva Tacmo, 23, from the Phillipines, he is singer in Ha Noi; Ella Beth Walls from Australia, is English teacher.

The organizers said the contest took place in Can Tho on December 11 & 12 and in HCMC will be on December 13 & 14, aiming to seek talented individuals and groups of any age for the next round.

The winner of the show, which will be broadcast on VTV3, will take home VND 500million (US$ 25,000). The program is jointly produced by VTV and BHD Company and is based on the British TV format conceived and owned by Simon Cowell’s SYCO Company, which has spawned spin-offs in over 30 countries across over the world.
