VietNamNet Bridge – A wild pineapple tree of 20m high has become a phenomenon in Dong Hoi city in the central province of Quang Binh.

According to Vo Quy Thang from Dong Hoi city, a wild pineapple tree grew

in his garden two years ago. The tree is now over 20 meters in height.

Its foot is very big, with over-10cm diameter.

 The top of the tree blossoms many flowers and fruits.

The tree-trunk is firm like hardwood trees. Children can climb up on it.

Normal pineapple trees are only over 1m high. Many people have flocked

to Thang’s garden to see and take picture of the strange tree.
