VietNamNet Bridge – The list of 22 officials recommended as members of the Politburo and the Central Party Committee’s Secretariat has been prepared, including under-40 candidates, said To Huy Rua, the head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Communist Party Central Committee.

Speaking at the committee’s meeting on Tuesday, Rua said that this year the agency will focus on preparation and services for the 12th Party Congress.

Tuoi Tre Newspaper quoted Rua as saying that, with the advice of the Central Organizing Committee, the Politburo has decided a list of 290 key officials for the upcoming terms of the Central Party Committee, including 22 members of the Politburo and the Secretariat, the most important bodies of the Party.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the meeting, Mr. Tran Luu Hai, deputy head of the Central Organization Committee, said the preparation of top-ranking personnel is not only for this term but the following terms, so some recommended candidates are under 40 years old.
