VietNamNet Bridge – The preliminary round of Miss Vietnam 2016 for contestants from northern provinces is taking place in Hanoi (July 9-16), with the participation of hundreds of young women.

The jury includes: Historian Duong Trung Quoc (chief judge), poet Huu Viet, anthropometric expert Dr. Le Diep Linh, People's Artist Ha The Dung, Artist of Merit Trinh Kim Chi (Miss Vietnam runner-up), and Miss Vietnam 2012 Dang Thu Thao.

In this round, contestants had to pass an anthropometric test and the interview with the jury. The best entered the second round. Finally 32 girls were selected for the final round for the northern region, which will take place on July 17 in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province.
