VietNamNet Bridge – At least 10 people were reported dead, 3 others missing and 14 injured owing to floods in central Vietnam.
Of the dead victims, Quang Tri province has five, Quang Binh 3, Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Nam one each. Quang Tri also has two missing and Quang Binh with one missing people.

Flood has also damaged 92,324 houses, 2,170 hectares of rice and 3,571 hectares of other crops. More than 6,500 families had to evacuate.

In the Mekong Delta, prolonged flood has killed at least 48 people, damaged over 1,450km of dike, flooded nearly 90,000 houses and over 21,400 hectares of rice.

This is the most prolonged and powerful flood in the Mekong Delta in many years.
