SAO Concert is scaling up into a 25,000-capacity music festival in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing nearly 60 artists together for more than 14 hours of performances.

Following two successful editions, the organizers have decided to expand the event from a concert into a full-scale music festival. Expected to take place in Van Phuc, Ho Chi Minh City, the festival is designed for an audience of 25,000 and will bring together nearly 60 artists across three stages over more than 14 consecutive hours, creating a festival space combining music, art, fashion and lifestyle.
A representative of the production team said: “Music is the soul and the core value of SAO Concert. Over 14 hours, audiences will be immersed in a large-scale live-band celebration featuring nearly 60 artists from different generations, musical backgrounds and genres. Each stage will have its own identity, creating a varied emotional journey as the energy continuously shifts throughout the festival.”
Three stages, 14 hours of music
A defining feature of SAO Concert is its three-stage format, with performances unfolding consecutively from daytime until late at night.
The opening Sunshine Stage, held in the afternoon, will introduce audiences to emerging artists and newcomers to Vietnam’s music scene, including Minh Huy, AEONUS, Do Thnh Duy, Duyen Kendy, BEVIS, Thieu Gia Hoang and Trang Anh.
The Sunset Chill Stage, scheduled for late afternoon and early evening, will offer a more relaxed atmosphere featuring indie artists and performers known for easygoing musical styles, including Hang BingBoong, Yeolan, Hoang Duyen, Vu Thanh Van, Minh Toc & Lam, 52Hz, Rio and marzuz.
Musician Huy Tuan believes SAO Concert will become a new destination for music lovers.
The evening’s Stardom Journey Stage will bring the festival to its high-energy climax. A major highlight will be an hour-long performance by artists from SpaceSpeakers, including Soobin, Binz, Rhymastic, Cuong Seven, Kriss Ngo, Monotape, Lezii, APJ and Sugi.
The stage will also feature B Ray, Quang Hung MasterD, Rhyder, Duong Domic, Mew Amazing, Mason Nguyen, 24K.Right, Negav, Chi Xe, Captain Boy, Jaysonlei, Jey B, Khoi Vu and UPrince.
Notably, organizers have also invited F.HERO, a veteran Thai hip-hop artist, to perform at the festival.
Alongside SAO Concert – The Stardom Music Festival, the organizers are developing SAO Concert – The Symphony of Love, a series of live-band concerts featuring symphonic arrangements that reinterpret familiar songs in new ways while placing greater emphasis on performance quality and the audience’s emotional experience.
The production team includes production director Minh Hien, music director Huy Tuan and conductor Tran Nhat Minh. In the longer term, organizers hope the two programs will develop in parallel with other music projects, creating a broader ecosystem spanning different genres, event scales and audience groups.
