The annual Sao Khue Awards organised by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association consist of two ranks: four-star and five-star. The five-star rating is only given to the product with the greatest breakthroughs in technology and practicality.

This year, the five-star rating goes to a public transportation service by MK Smart Company. Their technology is able to completely replace paper tickets for trains and buses, as well as act as an electronic wallet for payment transactions.

Qualita, a property management software, and HiStaff, an overall human resources management software designed by Tinh Van Company, were presented with the four-star Sao Khue awards.

The Sao Khue Awards in 2015 focused on trending global technologies, such as cloud computing as well as IT solutions for healthcare, education, public administration, agriculture, accounting, human resource management, and the retail sector.

In previous years, the Sao Khue Awards mainly dealt with solutions for corporate and financial management, healthcare and education services.
