VietNamNet Bridge – The first Ha Noi 9-Ball Pool Open will get started tomorrow, Oct 22, at the Trinh Hoai Duc Gymnasium.

Many of Viet Nam's top players such as Luong Chi Dung, Nguyen Phuc Long and Lim Leng have registered to take part in the event.

The top six qualifiers from the first round will go on to compete against 18 seeds from October 25-27.

Prize money of VND68 million (US$3,300) is up for grabs, with the winner taking home VND40 million ($2,000).

Matches from semi-finals will be broadcast live on VTV3.

The organisers hope to make it an annual event which will also lure foreign competitors.
