Artworks by 90 international artists are on display at an ongoing exhibition being held from September 18 to 22 at the South Korean Cultural Centre in Hanoi.

Titled World Peace Exchange, the exhibition features 90 artworks in the form of oil paintings, lacquer paintings, wood engravings, Chinese-ink paintings and paper fan paintings.

The exhibition, which features artists hailing from South Korea, China, the US, and Australia, as well as Russia and Viet Nam, is being organised by the Korean International Culture Art Exchange Association. It is a rare chance for artists from different countries to connect through art.

Four of the artists are Vietnamese: Pham Thang Long, Trinh Tuan, Nguyen Van Nghi and Vu Bach Lien.

Some 20 artists presented their works at the exhibition’s opening ceremony on Monday.

Established in 1985, the association has been organising exhibitions across the world to promote the cause of peace.
