The vaccination campaign was carried out in eight days, from September 8-15, amid a complicated epidemic situation, so it was difficult to speed up vaccination.

On September 15, the city administered 124,117 vaccine doses, bringing the total to 8,452,609 doses, including 6,667,018 people with the first dose and 1,785,591 people with the first and second dose.

According to statistics from the HCM City Department of Population and Family Planning, the total number of people aged 18 and over in the city is 7,208,800 people.

Thus, the proportion of people aged 18 and over in the city who received the first shot is more than 92%, and those with the second dose is more than 24.7%.

Currently, districts and Thu Duc city are still giving vaccinations for the remaining people who have not got the first dose. These people can go to vaccination sites with their identity card or other identification documents to get vaccinated.
