VietNamNet Bridge – Venerable monk Thich Tu Nghiem of the Pho Da temple in Da Nang city has lived with more than 200 ancient Buddha statues in an 18sq.m room for the last 10 years.
These are invaluable statues of the Vietnamese Buddhism, which are collected by the monk.
Statues are made of various materials, from wood to bronze, ceramic, etc. Most of them are 300 to 700 years old.
The monk wishes to build a bigger house to display these statues.
