VietNamNet Bridge – Local audiences will have a chance to come on stage to conduct a symphony orchestra at the upcoming Happiness Concert which will be held in Hanoi and HCMC on January 11 and 15 respectively, Vietnamplus reports.

The concert will have a conductor session with an aim to bring a unique experience to audiences and to bridge the gap between classical music and the public. The upcoming event will feature Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and Meritorious Artist/violin soloist Bui Cong Duy.

Spectators are promised to enjoy world’s popular pieces, including “The Swan Lake,” “The Blue Danube,” and “Three old Viennese dance.”

The organizers will offer tickets with special price of VND100,000 for students to the concerts in Hanoi and HCMC. It is expected that all the proceeds from the two events will be used for scholarships for poor students with outstanding academic records to promote local education and the future arts of the country.
