The cultural and artistic values ​​that the Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2022 can be seen through the collections imbued with the spirit and imprint of Vietnam. They will contribute to opening up new opportunities and directions for Vietnamese fashion on the world map.

Eighteen Vietnamese and international fashion designers and brands took part in the event. The fashion week featured new collections from designers Fredrick Lee from Singapore, Priyo Oktaviano from Indonesia, and Jovana Benoit from Haiti with brand Jovana Louis, and Italian brand Paul & Shark.

International designers joined with Vietnamese colleagues such as Duc Hung, Hoang Hai, Ha Linh Thu and Adrian Anh Tuan, besides young designers from the Hanoi-based London College for Design & Fashion.

Le Thi Quynh Trang, President of the Vietnam International Fashion Week and Council of ASEAN Fashion Designers, said: "With the theme of ‘Taste of Heritage’, the fashion week portrays the timeless beauty of Vietnamese cultural heritages, and inspires designers to create designs which honour, preserve and promote the country’s precious cultural values.”

The Vietnam International Fashion Week was first held in 2014, and quickly became the leading fashion event in ASEAN. It ranks fourth in Asia after Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai fashion weeks.

Cultural and traditional factors were promoted and creatively maximized by Vietnamese designers. Designs in the collection “Ky gui nguoi Mong vao tuong lai”, were inspired by the culture of the Mong ethnic group.

The 14th season entitled 'Taste of heritage' attracted veteran designers around the world. Many famous names joined the event, such as Korean fashion legend - Designer Lie Sang Bong (photo), Tony Ward, Jorge Duque (Colombia), Julien Fournie (France), Roberto Balestra (Italy), Song Zio, Chung Chung Lee (Korea), and Frederick Lee (Singapore).
The Vietnam International Fashion Week affirmed its position, opening up opportunities for international integration, becoming a cultural bridge between Vietnam and the world. 
This was also a place to honor and launch many prominent names such as Thuy Nguyen, Adrian Anh Tuan, Hoang Minh Ha, Ly Giam Tien, Nguyen Tien Truyen, etc.
