With a view to offering train passengers a more enjoyable journey along the length of country, the Vietnam Railway Corporation will put into use six new trains built using high-grade materials and providing premium facilities.

Compared with the previous generation trains, the seats are more comfortable and the luggage compartments are wider. In addition, the two ends of a carriage are reserved for storing oversized luggage.

Meals are offered free of charge on these premium trains as a cooperative service between the VNR and the Southern Airports Services Joint Stock Company.

The meals are prepared and stored in accordance with a strict quality control procedure and delivered to the trains one hour before departure.
