Vietnam Television (VTV) has made what it has called a significant investment in licensing, producing and promoting a new sport game show in Vietnam entitled – Unlimited-Sasuke Vietnam – based upon the successful US version called American Ninja Warrior.

The initial qualifying round for the show will be held May 7-8 in Hanoi to be followed by the second round in Danang on May 14-15 and the third and final qualifying round in HCM city on May 19-20.

All told 140 candidates will be selected from the north, central and southern regions of the country to compete in the final round, which will be held at Thu Dau Mot City in Binh Duong province on a 20,000 square metre outdoor stage.

The game sets have been designed and manufactured under the strict supervision of Japanese experts who will also oversee construction of the sets and certify they are in compliance with the highest of safety standards.

As a television game show produced by Japan’s TBS Television and licensed to numerous countries around the globe, Sasuke requires contestants to be in top physical and mental condition as they manoeuvre an obstacle course and face dangerous challenges to become the winner.

Total cash prizes will be worth up to VND 1 billion, including the grand prize of VND 800 million in cash for the winner – the highest cash award of any game show produced by Vietnam Television.
