Accordingly, the additional 15 national intangible cultural heritages include:

1. The Bay Nui Cow Racing Festival in the southern province of An Giang

The cow racing festival is the traditional festival of the Khmer people to pay their respect to their ancestors, which is annually taken place during 8th - 9th Lunar Month in Nui Bay, An Giang province.

2. The Crop-praying festival of the Dao ethnic minority Ha Giang

The festival takes place annually in January of lunar calendar, praying for a new year with good weather, lush green harvest. This is a nice traditional culture of the Dao people. It is not much sophisticated, but has many deeply spiritual elements of the ethnic communities.

3. Village Festival in Bac Ninh province

The festival takes place on February 6 of lunar calendar. The solemn procession involves hundreds of people in the village. Diem village is the only place in the 49 villages of the region that has the shrine for the ancestor of Quan Ho. The festival also has sport activities such as chess, badminton, swing, cock fighting, etc. In the picture is chess game.

4. Dong Ky Village Festival

Every year, on the 4th day of the 1st lunar month, Dong Ky village holds a firecracker festival. Its annual festival is organized from the 4th to the 6th of the first lunar month in memory of tutelary god's great merit - who was nominated Thien Cuong De.

5. Phu Lang Ceramic in Bac Ninh province

Located on the Cau River, the ceramic village of Phu Lang retains the simple beauty and peaceful atmosphere of yesteryear with its narrow zigzag lanes, red brick walls, and unchanging scenes of rural Viet Nam. Jars and vases line the roads of the village because almost every family in the village makes pottery.

6. Phu Khe wood-carving village in Bac Ninh province  

Phu Khe village in the northern province of Bac Ninh has long been famous for traditional dragon patterns carved in wood. Such patterns have appeared in important architectural works across Viet Nam.  

7. Dai Bai Bronze Casting Village in Bac Binh province

Dai Bai village (Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province) is nationwide famous for more than 1,000 year old bronze casting tradition. Bronze casting traditional occupation was established in 998. In the 15th century, the villages was divided into different hamlets, each with their own professional skill including bronze kettles, bronze pots, bronze basins, bronze food tray and one hamlet which was specialized in providing materials and selling products.

8. Flax weaving of Hmong people in Ha Giang province

Flax is a common material of the Hmong people in Ha Giang province where the Hmong people are famous for their traditional brocade weaving. All Hmong families have looms and their woven items like towels, cloths, hats, and scarves are mainly for family use. Hmong women typical of diligence have created subtle patterns made from flax.

9. Trong Quan Singing in Bui Xa Village, Bac Ninh province

Trong quan singing, a type of popular art which alternates singing with drum accompaniments, has been performed for over 700 years in Bui Xa Village, Ninh Xa Commune, Thuan Thanh District of northern Bac Ninh Province.

From the 4th to the 7th day of the third lunar month, the 4th day of the ninth lunar month, the 24th day of the twelveth lunar month. The main festival day is on the 6th day of the third lunar month.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism asked the Chairperson of the People’s Committees at all levels in localities where relics are recognised as national intangible cultural heritages to manage the relics in line with regulations on cultural heritage.
