Vietnam aims to be free of African swine fever by 2025
Vietnam is targeting more than 90 per cent of communes and wards being free of African swine fever (AFS) by 2022 and the country being free of the disease by 2025.
Outbreaks of African swine fever show signs of slowing down
As of April 10, no new cases of African swine fever (ASF) had been reported in the 12 ASF-outbreak areas over the past 30 days, according to the Department of Animal Health under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
