In recent years, farmers in Hong Ly commune, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province have grown fields of different flowers to attract visitors from far and wide. This has improved the livelihood of local residents.




The vibrant colours of horseradish, sunflower and fresh buckwheat flower fields captivate the hearts of passing tourists. Hong Ly commune has greeted many visitors since the beginning of the flower season, improving the living conditions of local residents here.

With over 60ha of land and 500 households, Hong Ly commune is now piloting growing winter crops and developing tourism. This is becoming a prime example for other places, making use of their agriculture sector to improve the livelihood of local residents. –VNA
