According to a McKinsey report, AI (artificial intelligence) can increase productivity up to 40 percent and cut 30 percent of operation costs. In marketing, AI is used in content creation. The key visual that appeared on the designs of the Viettel AI Day program was designed by AI based on people’s ideas.

“Previously, it took several days to design a key visual, but now AI can turn your ideas into finished products within one hour,” Quy said. “AI also suggests a lot of ideas for content production for users."

Quy believes that training is needed in the use of AI, including how to make accurate requests. He added that AI developers should develop models according to MLOps (Machine Learning Operations).

Viettel AI is researching and mastering core technologies to develop AI ecosystems for businesses and organizations.

Viettel’s virtual assistants are used at the enterprise. As a secretary working 24 hours a day and seven days a week, Viettel’s virtual assistant can answer diverse questions to the group’s officers, including info about production and business targets, HR policies, and internal procedures.

Viettel’s legal virtual assistant, after one year of use, has helped automate the trial process and reduce 30 percent of the time that judges have to spend to handle their work.

As many as 500,000 online transaction accounts are opened each month, and 70 percent of identification time can be cut thanks to AI used in electronic identification and authentication.

AI has helped verify 200 legal dossiers a month with less than 10 seconds for each dossier.

ViGTP, the AI program developed by VinBigData (VBD), belonging to Vingroup, has caught attention from the public. Nikkei Asia noted that Vietnam is developing AGI (artificial general intelligence) programs serving local languages and culture in Asia with ViGPT. ViGPT's large language model (LLM) is said to include 1.6 billion parameters.

VinFast, another subsidiary of Vingroup, said it will use AI technology in electric vehicle production. Drivers will be able to control vehicles through verbal commands.
