By “Vietnam” replaced with “Vietdamn”, this word amounts to an act of disrespect for Vietnam as a nation and Vietnamese customers in particular.

The word “damn” is normally used to swear, curse, and express anger or frustration though in some cases, it is used with an adjective for emphasis such as “damn delicious” or “damn good”.

However, it is unacceptable to create a new word by combining the name of Vietnam and the term “damn” to make a soundbite.

The ad promotes fares of low-cost flights to Vietnam.
