Hanoi (VNA) - Theannual Longbien Marathon 2019 (LBM 2019) will be held on October 27 withthe participation of nearly 6,000 athletes.

They will run over four coursesof 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km.

LBM, with its theme of ‘Run Home’this year, is one of the rare events in Vietnam recognised by the InternationalAssociation of Athletics Federations and the Association of InternationalMarathons and Distance Races.

Results will be used toapply for the Boston Marathon, one of six World Marathon Majors.

Winners will receive a total of 650million VND (28,000 USD) in cash and gifts./.VNA
