VietNamNet Bridge – The Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC), which is considered the ‘Ambassador of Harmony’ from the city of Boston in the USA, will perform for free in Hanoi on June 29 and in Ho Chi Minh City on June 26.
The group will entertain Vietnamese audiences with charming choral pieces such as ‘We Sing’, ‘Africa’, ‘Dreams’ and ‘Ain't Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Round’.
The choir will also join exchanges with Vietnamese children in both cities to boost cultural understanding between the two countries.
The free performances will begin at 8 pm in the Hanoi Opera House, 1 Trang Tien Street and the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House at 7 Cong Truong Lam Son Street.
Free tickets can be obtained via boston@newmedia.edu.vn.
Formed in 2003 with only 20 children, the choir has developed into 450 singers representing over 50 urban and suburban neighborhoods of Boston who transcend social barriers to celebrate the shared humanity and love of music.
