VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) will submit the draft amendment of the Land Law to the government in June, two months before it is submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The MoNRE said that it is reviewing the implementation of the current Land Law and the Resolution 7 of the 9th Central Party Committee, on land law in the new period of industrialization and modernization.

The review reports will be sent to the Politburo and the Central Party Committee’s Secretariat this March.

Land is now a burning issue at all provinces and cities. Land is now a valuable asset in the context that the population is booming while land is the same. The demand for land has become the source of social instability.

Many experts have called for amending the current Land Law to prevent social matters.
