VietNamNet Bridge - The Ballroom Dance Company from the Brigham Young University, a leading art troupe from the US, made a strong impression on Hanoian audiences through its performance on May 14, at the Bao Son Paradise Park
The 50-member troupe left a great impression on local audiences with a creative and lively performance of different dances, from waltz to samba, foxtrot and hustle.
Founded in 1971, the Utah-based ensemble is the US National Formation Dance Champion, a title the team has won 27 consecutive times since 1982.
The ensemble also won first place at the prestigious British Ballroom Dance Championships in Blackpool, England, in both modern and Latin dance last year.
They have also performed as special guest artists at ballroom dance competitions in China, the Ukraine and Hungry.
The company has toured throughout the US and more than 30 different countries, astounding audiences with their precision, beauty and skill.
Since its foundation in 1982, the Ballroom Dance has won 27 US championships and 12 international titles.
In Vietnam, it performed in Da Nang on May 13, and in Hanoi on May 14.
