American stand-up comedian William Childress William Childress will perform at Game On Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City and at Standing Bar in Hanoi on February 22 and 23.

William began his standup career in 2011 in Shanghai, China as one of the earliest members of Kung Fu Komedy and helped open mainland China’s first standup comedy room. 

Moving to Myanmar, William founded the country’s first English-language standup group, Standup Yangon, which he still runs from afar.

Having headlined all over Asia, William has twice been a finalist of the Hong Kong International Comedy Competition, finishing second runner up in 2014. 

In 2015, he took the long way back home, stopping off at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he put on a successful full-run solo show. 

Now based in his native Atlanta, Georgia, William performs throughout the US.
