Visitors are lining up to view the stunning ancient Sapa roses at the Bulgaria Rose Festival being held in Hanoi from March 8-11.
As many as 2,000 imported roses and various types of Vietnamese roses are displayed at the event. Ancient Sapa roses attract visitors’ attention due to their unique beauty. The flowers are hardy enough to survive in tough weather. It is one of the rarest roses in Vietnam. The Ancient Sapa rose originated in Europe. It was brought to Vietnam by a Frenchman who planted it in Sa Pa. It is also known as a French rose. The white and red rose bushes can grow to about 3 meters tall. They are grown in large pots.
