VietNamNet Bridge – With four gold and two silver medals, Anh Vien is the top swimmer of the NASA Junior National Championship Cup in Florida, USA, which took place on March 27-29.

In this tournament, she competed in the 17-18 age group, with the most talented young athletes of America. In many categories, Anh Vien’s records are very far from her rivals.

Anh Vien made a great success in the six swimming events, bringing home a total of 6 gold medals and 2 silver medals.

She won four gold medals in the women’s 200m individual medley, 500-yard event, 400-yard mixed, 200-yard butterfly and two silvers - 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard freestyle.

With the excellent achievements, she was selected as the No.1 swimmer at this US tournament.

Coach Dang Anh Tuan said Anh Vien was honored by the organizing committee and interviewed by American television.

Anh Vien will continue drilling to prepare for an important tournament – the Grand Prix in Charlotte (USA) in May this year.

She will also go to Nanjing (China) to participate in the Junior Olympics 2014 as the only hope of Vietnam.
