Qantas plane QF6 experienced engine problems shortly after takeoff from Singapore Friday evening, local media reported.

The Boeing 747 plane, which was heading from Singapore to Sydney, landed safely in Changi airport, according to local TV broadcaster Channel NewsAsia.
Qantas said that shortly after takeoff, the plane "experienced an issue with its number 1 engine," adding that as a precautionary measure, the captain of the Boeing 747 aircraft sought priority clearance to return to Singapore.
There were 412 passengers on board, along with three flight crew and 16 cabin crew.
On Thursday noon, a Qantas Airbus A380 made an emergency landing in Singapore after one of its four engines experienced serious engine problems. Qantas has grounded all flights on A380 plane after the incident.
