A caricature by artist NOP criticising State officials, who involve in corruptions.

“An anti-corruption contest is a realistic and meaningful activity to support anti-corruption measures that the Central Party and State have initiated,” said Vi Kiến Thành, head of the department.

According to the organisers, any Vietnamese citizen above 18 is eligible to take part in the contest. Their works should reflect anti-corruption activities and efforts.

The caricatures should have been drawn between 2016 and 2018. Each participant can send up to 10 entries. The shortlisted caricatures will be displayed on boards outdoors. The participants are required to write their addresses, names, pen names, date of birth and year of drawing on a model form attached behind their work.

The caricatures need to be submitted in black and white on an A3 or A4-sized paper or should be designed using a graphic design software.

A hard copy of the work should be sent to the department either through post or through email. For online submission, the caricature should be sent in a JPG or PDF format, with a 5MB resolution and 300dpi to phongmythuatcmt@gmail.com between September 4 and September 7, 2018.

The organising board will give away a first prize of VNĐ30 million (US$1,300), three second prizes of VNĐ10 million each, six third prizes of VNĐ5 million each, 10 consolation prizes worth VNĐ2 million as well as prizes for the oldest and youngest competitors. — VNS
