VietNamNet Bridge – An anti-corruption program will be included in the next school curriculum as per a directive issued by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
The Ministry of Education and Training has just instructed schools to include the anti-corruption program in the school curriculum from the next academic year 2013-2014.
The program will cover every aspect of corruption at all levels.
For senior high schools, the program will be added into lessons of citizenship education in six class sessions a week.
For vocational training facilities, the program will be included in law lessons in six class sessions.
For higher education at universities and colleges, the program will be inserted in general law lessons of five class sessions, but students of Law University will study the program in 15 class sessions.
The ministry has ordered schools to include the program into extra curricular activities, suitable to the age group.
