VietNamNet Bridge – Antigone Rising, the New York based female rock band, will perform in Vietnam from July 7 to 13 as part of activities to mark the 20th anniversary of US-Vietnam relations, announced the US General Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City on June 29.

They will travel to Vietnam to offer master classes and free performances to audiences in Ho Chi Minh City and the central coastal city of Nha Trang.

In addition, their seven-day music tour will cover outreach programmes in Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang and Can Tho.

The band will hold a press meeting at the American Centre in District 1, HCM City.

The four members, Nini Camps (lead singer), Dena Tauriello (drums), Kristen Henderson (bass/vocals) and Cathy Henderson (guitar/vocals), are well-known for their masterful musicianship and play upwards of 280 shows a year.

They have performed with famous bands such as the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, the Bangles and other rock legends.
