VietNamNet Bridge – Fifteen collectors showcased their antique items and paintings at the exhibition ‘Antiques Culture & Contemporary Fine Art Paintings – the National Pride’, opened from October 12-19 at No. 628 Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi.

The collection features more than 300 exhibits made from various materials, of which many are to be presented to the public for the first time, covering national development processes from the ancient to modern era, including typical artifacts from each historical period

Items on display include precious artifacts, including incense burners in crown-shape and lamps from King Le Trung Hung reign, along with incense burners from the Le and Mac dynasties.

Nearly 50 paintings by famous artists graduated from the Indochina College of Fine Arts, including Bui Xuan Phai, Nguyen Tu Nghiem, Diep Minh Chau, and Nguyen Dung, are also on display.

Prestigious antiques collectors, including Duong Minh Chinh, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Nguyen Ngoc Dan, Tran Thao, Pham Duc Si, Tran Ngoc Viet, Trinh Hung and Nguyen Dat will hold discussions with visitors on the unique values of art, culture and history of their artifacts, as well as their passion and interesting experiences in this field.

A non-profit auction will also be held as part of the event’s framework. Part of money earned from the auction will be drawn into activities in support of soldiers on duty of safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty over its seas and islands.
