Local designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam has recently introduced his latest Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) collection at the Couture Fashion Week in New York.

The Couture Fashion Week New York’s 26th season takes place in Broadway, New York City on September 8-10, attracting dozens of designers from the US, Australia, Russia, Dominica, Indonesia and Vietnam.

At the event, designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam introduces his latest compilation entitled The Golden Lotus Ao Dai Collection. The designer draws inspiration from wedding gowns of young ladies from royal families.

The collection is highlighted by the gold-plated technique on silk and velvet materials, which are engraved with gemstone.
