Apple, Google gỡ bỏ game có “đường lưỡi bò” phi pháp

Previously, the public was frustrated with the information in a children's game app called "Baby Panda’s World Travel" containing the illegal image of the "cow's tongue line".

According to the Foreign Information Department under the Ministry of Information and Communications, this violated Vietnam's territorial sovereignty, causing public frustration and affecting Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty. Moreover, the games with the illegal cow's tongue line are dangerous because they can create misconceptions about the issue of national sovereignty among children.

The Department of Broadcasting and Electronic Information under the Ministry of Information and Communications asked Google and Apple to remove this game.

"Baby Panda’s World Travel" is one of the games in the app store "Little Panda's World Travel". These are G2, G3, G4 games that are illegally provided by a Chinese firm to Vietnam via cross-border platforms.

On November 16, 2020, at the request of the Government of Vietnam, this game was removed from the application store of the two operating systems Android and iOS.

The Department of Broadcasting and Electronic Information is reviewing the games that are illegally provided in Vietnam via cross-border platforms in order to request Google and Apple to block and remove them from the Vietnamese market.
