This lawsuit was filed in the Arizona district court on Thursday.
ICloud Communications is demanding the court for all of Apple's profits from iCloud thus far and for Apple to immediately stop using the name of "iCloud".
Apple's representatives did not immediately respond so far.
Apple did apply for the trademark "iCloud" in Europe on March 31 and bought the iCloud.com domain for 4.5 million U.S. dollars.
This is not the first time that Apple’s products met with lawsuits over trademark issue. In 2007, Apple's iPhone was sued by Cisco, which launched a product also called "iPhone". (Agencies)
