Notably, the tournament will draw athletes from more than 10 countries such as the Republic of Korea, the United States, Australia, France, Germany, India, Russia, New Zealand, Romania, and Switzerland, according to the organisers Bolt Event Joint Stock Company.
They will compete in five distance categories, including Aqua Warriors (3km swimming-15km running for athletes over 18-years-old), Olympic Aqua Warriors (1.5km swimming-10km running for athletes over 16-years-old), and Sprint Aqua Warriors (0.75km swimming-5km running for athletes over 12-years-old).
Children will take part in different categories such as Junior Aqua Warriors (0.3km swimming-2km running for athletes aged nine to 11), and Kids Aqua Warriors (0.15km swimming-1km running for athletes under nine-years-old).
The Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road is designed for the running competition as the route is set to impress athletes with its beautiful landscape and a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.
The swimming competition will take place at Hon Gai beach which has been given a total investment of VND100 billion and designed by Italian artists.
