Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Son (R) hands over his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan

Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Son, who is in charge of both Armenia and Russia, presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion.

President Sargsyan noted that his country treasures its cooperation with Vietnam and expected that the Ambassador will contribute to the partnership and amity between the two countries during his term.

Son delivered the wishes from leaders of the Vietnamese Party, State and Government for the bilateral relations with Armenia to be elevated to a new height.

The time-tested relationship between Vietnam and Armenia has been continually growing and they hold a myriad of untapped cooperation potentials, especially in science-technology which is Armenia’s strength, he noted.

He added that Vietnam is willing to establish an inter-governmental committee to foster bilateral linkages in specific fields.

On October 5, the diplomat was received by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, and both discussed bilateral collaboration and issues of shared concern.
