VietNamNet Bridge – The Army team won the National Shooting Cup yesterday in Ha Noi, having secured 18 gold medals.

The National Shooting Cup wrapped up with the Army team taking the top ranking, after winning 18 gold medals.

On the last day of competition, Army’s Dau Van Dong won his second gold of the event in the men’s 25m individual centre-fire pistol, with 583 points.

HCM City’s Bui Hong Phong and Phan Xuan Chuyen grabbed the silver and bronze, respectively.

With two athletes in the individual top three, HCM City earned the team title with 1,159 points.

The Army team came second with 1,146 points. It was their 18th silver medal at the annual event. The team also claimed eight bronzes and two records.

Ha Noi came second in the overall ranking. The hosts’ shooters scored seven golds together with one record result.

Hai Duong stood in third with six titles and one record.
