Artistic photographer Vu Anh Tuan displays his feeling for Viet Nam's Spratly Archipelago and its people through photos that will be showcased in an exhibition opening tomorrow in Ha Noi.

Entitled Cam Xuc Truong Sa (Emotion for Spratly Islands), the show will feature 68 of thousands of photos Tuan took during a trip to the archipelago in April.

Besides the islands' beautiful ocean landscape, Tuan's photos also depict the activities of navy soldiers defending Viet Nam's sovereignty.

Visitors will be able to learn more about the far flung isles and as well as the photographer's love for this ocean region.

Hosted by the Viet Nam Artistic Photographers' Association and the Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, where Tuan works as a journalist, the display Emotion for Spratly Islands is his first-ever solo exhibition.

The exhibition will be held at Exhibition House, 93 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ha Noi, until August 18. The photos then will be given to the High Command of the Navy.
