The event, which opened its doors last weekend, showed the best artworks by 36 local artists for the New Year celebration.
Artists depicted the beauty of landscapes and people in the region as well as environmental disasters and ocean pollution in coastal areas.

The museum said the exhibition will present annual prizes for local artists on the 68th anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Day, and honour the contribution of artists.
The exhibition will last through January 4 at 78 Le Duan Street, Da Nang City.

The museum, which displays 413 works by artists from the city and provinces in the region, is one of the popular cultural destinations for tourists besides the Cham Sculpture Museum and the Da Nang Museum. — VNS
