VietNamNet Bridge - A team of archaeologists has excavated the Bai Coi relic in Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh province and found many artifacts dating back over 2,000 years, Mr. Le Ba Hanh, Deputy Director of the Museum of Ha Tinh Province said.

Archaeological experts of the Vietnam National Museum of History and the National Museum of Korea have opened three excavation holes with a total area of 75m2 and discovered two types of tombs, including two soil and three jar tombs. These tombs consist of many artifacts like pots, vases, bowls, steamers etc.

Especially, experts found a bronze bracelet, which is considered jewelry of residents of Phoi Phoi-Bai Coi which dated back about 2,000 to 2,500 years ago.

These items belong to the Dong Son and Sa Huynh civilizations.

The excavation is still underway.
