Four exhibitions by young and veteran artists of Hue are attracting many visitors in the run-up to the Lunar New Year or Tet holiday, which will begin tomorrow.

Hue Art Gallery on Le Loi Street introduces two showcases, Fine Arts in Spring and Dragon – Zodiac Sign of the Year.

The exhibits feature 54 paintings in different materials such as lacquer and oil. All of the works are in praise of spring, the country and the people.

Veteran painter Dang Mau Triet's exhibition, called Spring Comes to the Tam Giang Lagoon, opened at the Song Huong Magazine's showroom on Pham Hong Thai Street this week.

Cafe Song Nhu Gallery on Nguyen Cong Tru Street features 20 paintings portraying dragon in different shapes and states created by veteran artist Dang Mau Tuu and younger artists.

The exhibitions runs through January.
