VietNamNet Bridge - The colorful paintings are shown on the big screen with spectacular lighting effects, outlining the view of cultural diversity in Indochina.

"Indochina Project" is a project of performing art using digital technology launched by two young innovators from New Zealand. They are Shea O'neill and Noel Regan Vause, and both are living and working in Vietnam.

The exhibition is held in HCM City, introducing selected works from the contest "Indochina Journey" which was held in May. In a month, the contest attracted more than a hundred artworks from the countries of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Myanmar, Sri Lanka ... The entries belong to various genres such as articles, video, photographs, songs about aspects of everyday life and the people in the countries of Indochina.

Finally, the winner is a pair of Cambodian artists Peap Tarr and Lisa Mam, with the work "Tree of inspiration." The work represents the desire for peace, luck and prosperity through Paya Nak, a mascot (dragon in legend) along with the moon and the sun. The Cambodian artists are invited to visit HCM City and perform their work at the exhibition.

Lisa Lam (nicknamed Lil Dots) is the first female street artist in Cambodia. Peap Tarr is not only a painter but also as one of the most successful artists in the hip hop movement in Cambodia.

The exhibition took place at 49-53 Dong Du Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on June 22, attracted nearly 600 visitors. The works were displayed on a wall assembled from many large LED screens. The paintings were displayed alternately on the LED screen, with QR code, which allowed viewers to quickly access to website of the project, to write comments or share information via the scanning application.

Visitors also enjoy the mural painting arts through the hands of Rah Akaishi (Sri Lanka), Phan Minh Tuan (Vietnam) and Peepshow (New Zealand) ...
