VietNamNet Bridge – The second annual ASEAN Music Festival will return to Hanoi on May 24 after its inaugural success last year.

Protocol Afro from Indonesia will join the festival in Hanoi in May.

 

Hosted by the US Embassy in Hanoi and CAMA Vietnam and entitled ‘ASEAN Pride: Celebrating Diversity’ the event will go throughout the day and night at the American Club, 19-21 Hai Ba Trung Street.

The festival will feature bands from the ASEAN region as well as art and community groups in and around Hanoi.  With confirmed acts such as Protocol Afro from Indonesia, Big Bagfrom Myanmar, the Pinholes from Singapore and Stylish Nonsense from Thailand, as well as many Vietnamese acts, this event is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enjoy ASEAN Pride and youth culture in Vietnam. The festival will also feature a creative arts market run by the Hanoi Flea Market, a section for artists, and a children's play area.

ASEAN Pride will run from 1pm until midnight on Saturday, May 24.  Entrance is free for ASEAN nationals (passport or ID may be required).  For others, a limited number of advance tickets priced at VND 320,000 are available from the start of May via ticketbox.vn.  Tickets at the gate will be 400,000VND.
