200 delegates from the Ministry of Transport of ASEAN member countries  gather at the event along with delegates from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and China.

Upon addressing the meeting, Nguyen Ngoc Dong, Deputy Minister of Transport, noted that transport links are a key factor on the path towards economic development and it has been important in promoting trade and tourism among ASEAN nations.

The Vietnamese delegation is headed by Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Ngoc Dong.

The contents of a working session held during the 47th ASEAN STOM were agreed upon by all delegates present on June 18.
