Five boys and five girls from Vietnam are competing at the 2015 Asian U14 Tennis Championships – Division II, which began on January 20 at the Phu Tho Sports Centre in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event was attended by 65 young tennis players from 12 teams including ITF Team, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Cambodia, Bhutan, Myanmar, Mongolia and Vietnam.

The competitors play in boys' and girls' singles and doubles events.

The tournament provides Vietnamese young players an opportunity to hone their skills and draw experience from strong rivals in preparation for international events.

It runs through January 29.
