VietNamNet Bridge – Hong Kong-based Asian Youth Orchestra will have a joint performance with British cello soloist Steven Isserlis conducted by James Judd and Richard Pontzious at 8 p.m. on August 10 and 11 at Hanoi Opera House.
Artists will contribute to audiences some popular pieces, including Overture to Der Freischütz, Cello Concert in b minor, Symphony No. 2, Symphony No.3, Cello Concerto in C and Symphony No. 5.
Since its inaugural concert in 1990, the Asian Youth Orchestra has played 291 worldwide concerts to more than one million fans. It has also featured on CNN, CNBC Asia, NHK Television, Radio and Television Hong Kong, and Star TV.
Isserlis is acclaimed worldwide for his technique and musicianship and has a distinguished career as a soloist, chamber musician and educator.
Tickets priced at VND200,000, VND350,000, VND500,000, VND700,000 are available at Hanoi Opera House at 1 Trang Tien.
