Travelers can choose to climb the mountain, nearly 650 meters tall, to reach the pagoda, around 400 meters above sea level, for two hours or take a 10-minute telpher ride that allows riders to view a scenic landscape above the mountain.

Constructed in 1962, the concrete statue of reclining Buddha measures 49 meters in length and seven meters in height.

Monks at the pagoda said thousands of tons of cement was transported to the location of the statue by workers along a two-kilometer path with a lot of rugged and winding stretches. It took four or five years to complete the statue.

Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda attracts many pilgrims during festivals and on the full moon day.

The modern cable car system, 1.6 kilometers long and 505 meters high, helps local and foreign visitors travel to this place easier and faster.
