The tournament drew the participation of128 young athletes, who will compete in the men’s singles, women’s singles, andmen’s and women’s doubles.

Prominent players are Rushil Khosla ofIndia, Chang Woo-hyuk of the Republic of Korea and Danir Kaldybekov ofKazakhstan, who claim the top three positions of the men’s Asian U14 rankings.

Vietnamese players qualifying for the mainround include Pham Tuan Hung, Tran Quoc Cuong, Ta Phuong Nam and Bui Hoang Anh,among others.

The tournament, which will run untilOctober 19, is expected to help young Vietnamese tennis players to gain moreexperience, said the organisers./.VNA
