VietNamNet Bridge – Hundreds of readers have emailed to VietNamNet to criticize the jury of the “Just Two of Us” TV show after the semi-final. They asked to have a new jury.
Readers complained that three of the four jury members, including singer Siu Black, songwriter Le Minh Son and singer-songwriter Phuong Uyen, failed to accomplish their role and function.

Le Minh Son who had never been a juryman for any national music competitions before, is said to be an easy-going juryman who gave marks that are different from his comments. He pointed out imperfect aspects in the performance by singer Phuong Linh and her partner Dinh Tien Dung, a TV host, but he offered them a ten mark.

Singer Siu Black is very experienced as a jurywoman of many dancing and singing contests, but in “Just Two of Us,” she is “losing herself” with unclear and general comments like “Generally, you need to try better” or “I like your show”.

Besides three regular jury members – Siu Black, Le Minh Son and movie director Le Hoang – the organizers invite a new jury member for each show. Phuong Uyen was the guest jurywoman in the semi-final night.

Uyen’s aping of contestants’ acts is said to be “ridiculous”. Several hours after the show, some viewer made adverse comments on this jurywoman.

Many readers disagreed with the jury’s decision to reject Phuong Linh and Dinh Tien Dung. They said that singer Dam Vinh Hung and his partner, actress Kim Thu would have been the losers because their performances were the worst. Kim Thu sang very badly and in the second song, she sang only one sentence.

Readers questioned why most of jury members were too easy with Dam Vinh Hung and Kim Thu, and why they can enter the final though they are not the best pair.
Some of the audience even “threatened” to boycott the final show of “Just Two of US” which will take place this Sunday.

Only director Le Hoang is praised to be a true jury member, who offered correct marks.

Some of the audience doubted that the result had been arranged because before the two pairs, Quang Ngoc Ngoan - Ngoc Anh and Phuong Linh – Dinh Tien Dung, who had the same point and had to sing the last song for the jury’s consideration, perform their last songs, Siu Black was captured to say “Choosing the pair in red, right?” At that time, Ngoc Anh wore a red dress while Phuong Linh was in a white gown.

Siu Black then explained that was her joke with Le Minh Son, and actually Quang Ngoc Ngoan – Ngoc Anh sang the last song better than Phuong Linh and Dinh Tien Dung.
